EU sister projects presented their impact on Gender Equality in STEM during RESET Workshop “Act Together”

The RESET project organized the first face to face event in Thessaloniki, Greece, on the 16th of June, 2022.

In the context of the 4rth Summit on Gender Equality in Computing, which was organized by the RESET partner “Aristotle University of Thessaloniki”, RESET organized the event ‘ACT TOGETHER’ with the participation of Eu Sister projects.

Eight EU sisters’ projects (Caliper, Eugain, Gearing Roles, Gender STI, Athena, Lets Gep and Unisafe) accepted RESET’s invitation and presented their action, their goals and their input in Computing Science and in the different STEM fields.

In the second part of the workshop, the public was invited to answer questions about actions, hypotheses and realities about the underrepresentation of women in STEM. The reaction shows the emerging need for action and GEPs implementations.

“ACT TOGETHER” workshop is one more action that the RESET project organizes with the other EU sister project. We definitely believe that synergies and common activities will go us further to achieve our goal: to achieve gender equality.
