RESET partner, the University of Bordeaux honorly participated in the final conference of the Eu Sister Projects UniSAFE. During the conference, the participants showed good practices such as the implementation of safe spaces at some universities (eg: University of Graz), highlighted the importance of the intersectional approach when tackling GBV in HEIs and the Importance of mobilizing decision-makers and integrating stakeholders in reflections on GBV. This participation of the University of Bordeaux was an opportunity to meet other sister projects such as CALIPER, and SUPPORTER, but also stakeholders such as a representative from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, students’ associations, and discussed projects of organizing a conference on the topic at Bordeaux with Pascale Vielle from the University of Namur. These conferences are extremely important for networking, knowledge exchange, and the feeling that a change is on its way toward more gender equality in HEI.
