In January 2023, the University of Bordeaux’s team conducted a 3 hours training session entitled “Sex and gender in scientific excellence: a requirement for all scientific fields” for doctoral students. This session was an occasion to present the RESET project’s outcomes and address the following topics:

• Definitions linked with sex, gender and stereotypes
• Data about inequalities in academic careers
• Recommendations to tackle inequalities
• Gender-inclusive language
• Gender-based violence in academia
• Gender integration into research and GIA tools

Alternating between theoretical content and case studies, this session gathered doctorates from various fields of study, including law, STEM or health science.
