Know before you go!

Conference Venue & Registration​

The conference is at the Rectory of the University of Porto (at Praça de Gomes Teixeira, 4099-002 Porto).

You can get map directions for the venue here.

The sessions will mostly take place at Salão Nobre (Noble Hall), but the workshop and poster sessions will take place at the Fundo Antigo Library Room.

Don’t worry—we will be there to help you navigate this beautiful historic building with ease. We will be waiting at the entrance of the building, at our registration desk.

Weather

The weather in Porto will be mostly cloudy, with light showers, but warm temperatures (from a minimum of 12ºC (at night) to a maximum of 21ºC).

So wear comfortable clothing and shoes (the city is quite walkable) and bring your raincoat along.

Time Zone and Conference Time

Be aware that Porto is on the WEST schedule, so you may have to adjust your clocks to be on time.

Better… try to be 10 minutes earlier as we will start on time (especially the workshop: 10 a.m local time!!).

And for those of you having poster sessions: Check your email and the time slots you’ll be pitching in!
