This 4-hour session aimed to help participants understand the concepts of sex and gender and their relevance for research – focusing STEM related topics. Furthermore, the importance of including the sex and gender dimension into research projects and designing more gender sensitive projects were emphasized. Participants had different academic and professional approaches enriching the session with different questions and contributions.
