On 9/11/2021 Ecorys on behalf of the European Commission, offered training on Gender Equality Plans (GEPs), to support relevant organizations from Greece who have applied, or plan to apply, to Horizon Europe.

RESET team was there to share experiences and present the process established by the project towards the design and implementation of a Gender Equality Plan in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

During the event, Anne Pepin – the Senior Policy Officer in the Gender Sector of the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation (RTD) – introduced the Research & Innovation priorities for gender equality in Greece, provided more information about the GEP eligibility criterion in Horizon Europe as well as presented the mandatory process requirements towards GEP development.

In addition, CALIPER and TARGET projects presented their experience of GEP development in Greek organizations and Higher Education Institutions and provided valuable information and lessons learned.
